Job Summary:
The SAP Partner Manager is responsible for building, managing, and growing relationships with key SAP technology and consulting partners. This role is crucial for driving mutual business success through strategic alliances, joint go-to-market strategies, and effective partner enablement. The SAP Partner Manager is responsible for assigned partners, acts as a liaison to educate the partner with the goal to focus on the right opportunities with our GTM team, and ensures that partners are fully aligned with the consulting company’s objectives and are equipped to deliver SAP solutions and services to a wide range of clients.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for relationship-building and a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, eager to contribute to the growth of the consulting company through strong partner collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Acquisition and Onboarding:
Setup and onboard new SAP consulting and technology partners that align with the company’s service offerings.
Develop and execute strategies for partner growth in key target markets.
Partner Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with existing SAP channel partners to foster trust, collaboration, and long-term business success.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate performance, track joint initiatives, and align on future goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for partner escalations, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Sales Enablement & Collaboration:
Support partners in identifying business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and closing deals in collaboration with the consulting company’s sales teams.
Provide training and enablement programs for partners on SAP solutions, implementation best practices, and the consulting company’s service offerings.
Align partner go-to-market strategies with the company’s objectives, focusing on solution delivery and customer success.
Work together with the GTM team and partners to assist in the proposal process including presentation.
Joint Go-to-Market Initiatives:
Collaborate with partners on joint marketing campaigns, events, and webinars to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
Coordinate the development of joint proposals and RFPs with partners, ensuring alignment on value propositions and service delivery.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal consulting, sales, and technical teams to ensure partners have the resources and support needed to succeed.
Coordinate joint business plans and initiatives between internal teams and external partners to maximize opportunities.
Job requirements
Experience, Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience in channel/partner management or business development within the SAP or consulting sector.
Proven experience as SAP Partner / Channel Manager for SAP services
Proven experience in working with large, global consulting companies / system integrators as partners.
Demonstrated track record in managing strategic relationships with partners or clients, preferably within the SAP ecosystem.
Experience working in SAP consulting companies, including a strong understanding of SAP products and services.
Knowledge of SAP solutions, partner programs, and the consulting business model.
Ability to manage multiple partners and projects simultaneously.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities for both partners and the company.
Familiarity with SAP partner tools and platforms a plus.
Strong understanding of the SAP ecosystem and competitive landscape.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently while being a team player.
Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
Results-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Willingness to travel for partner meetings, events, and business development (up to 30% of the time).
