To build out our team in the US, we are looking for an SAP Basis Consultant.

ROLE:
Are you passionate about operational excellence and providing exceptional customer service in the SAP space? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our growing consulting practice. As SAP Basis Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training, and production).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update SAP Systems and its components (SAP Support Packages, Kernel, Operating System & Database)
• Perform maintenance for SAP, Windows/Linux systems and database components (SAP Kernel, Support Package Updates, Windows Updates, Database patches)
• Perform maintenance tasks such as starting/stopping SAP systems and Database
• Perform SAP and Database health checks
• Work on SAP transports, client administration, system copy, system monitoring, performance tuning, SAP printing, system start/stop etc.
• Troubleshoot SAP basis related problems
• Analyze SAP performance, recommend actions for improvement and implement changes
• Monitor pre-defined alerts & acts to resolve them
• Manage SAP Users & authorizations

REQUIREMENTS:

• SAP Basis expertise and project experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, SUSE Linux operating systems, VMWare ESX and backup technologies.
• Database administration skills for Oracle, Sybase and HANA systems
• Good Fiori skills (authorization and roles)
• Familiar with SAP standard transactions for system monitoring and maintenance
• Good understanding of the the SAP transport landscape (ABAP)
• Knowhow with SAP interface infrastructure and troubleshooting
• Knowledgeable in Elastic Stack (ELK) & its administration
• Excellent customer skills are required
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organization skills and time management capabilities required.
• Strong analytical and issue resolution skills and knowledge of industry best practices in SAP methodologies.
• Ability to work in an international team & with global customers
• And of course, willing to work in a fast-paced environment while you manage multiple priorities
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
